📖 Romans 10:9-13
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
As Scripture says, ‘Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.’
For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him,
for, ‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’”The gospel has no gatekeeper. There’s no secret handshake, no velvet rope, no background check required. The invitation is open, the door is wide, and the only requirement is this: Believe in your heart and profess by your mouth that Jesus is Lord!
Whether you were raised in church or feel like a stranger to faith…
Whether you’re drowning in shame or living in quiet pride…
Whether you’re Jew or Gentile, rich or poor, religious or rebelliousIt doesn’t matter.
Salvation isn’t for the elite. It’s not just for those who grew up in church, have their lives in order, or know all the right verses. It’s for the broken, the burned out, the overlooked, the addicted, the skeptical, the ashamed, and the angry. It’s for you. It’s for me. It’s for all.
God doesn’t sort by skin color, social status, sin struggles, or spiritual background. The cross leveled the playing field for all have sinned, all fall short… but all can be saved. That’s what makes grace so powerful. It’s available and it’s abundant.
So when we lace up our shoes before dawn and link arms with the man beside us, we remember: every man is welcome. Every heart can be made whole.
Father,
Thank You that salvation isn’t closed off to the worthy but open to the willing.
Help me never forget that Your grace reached me, and You’re still reaching others.
Let my heart and my life reflect the truth that Your love includes everyone.
Give me boldness to share that message and kindness to walk it out.in the mighty name of Jesus I pray,
Amen
