đź“– 2 Corinthians 5:20

“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us.”

An ambassador represents the authority and message of the one who sent him. In the ancient world, ambassadors carried the words of a king into foreign lands, speaking on his behalf and representing his kingdom. Paul uses this image to describe the calling of every believer.

Through Christ, God has reconciled us to Himself and entrusted us with the message of reconciliation. As ambassadors, believers carry that message into the world, reflecting the heart of God and inviting others to be restored to Him.

This identity reminds us that faith is not only personal; it is also purposeful. Wherever we live, work, and interact with others, we represent Christ and the kingdom to which we belong. Our words and actions can point people toward the grace and truth of the gospel.

Wherever God places you, He has sent you there as His representative.
